About Us

Here at USA Addiction, we look after our counselors and coaches with great care.  So they can look after your family, help your loved one fight addiction and obtain long-term sobriety.

We Know What Works

We all believe that not enough is being done to aid the families that really need help with addiction. All of our counselors and coaches have heard horror stories from people.  Often when calling an addiction treatment center for help, the family was told unless the addict is willing to come to their center nothing could be done.

In a sense, it is true because if an addict is not willing to quit, then the addiction treatment will have little to no effect and will be a costly waste of time.

Here at USA Addiction, we say “There are other options” that the family can choose so that they can still proceed with getting their loved ones into treatment.

Our personalized method of intervention is designed to help families understand addiction and the ways addiction can manipulate a person into a whole different way of thinking and acting.

Through this process, we will show the family that with everyone’s help they can influence a loved one to understand the issue of addiction and the need to fight this problem before it’s too late.  With a strong family and friends support system the chances of an addict going into treatment greatly increases.  With this care and support, the addict will now be motivated to actively participate in the addiction recovery process because they now see that their lives really matter.

We have partnered with many reputable treatment centers so when the time comes and your loved one decides to go into treatment, we transport them right away.  If the family has a different treatment center of their choosing, we can also work with that.

There is no pressure where to go to seek treatment, just get your loved ones into treatment.

About The Team

At USA Addiction, our entire team has been affected by addiction one way or another.  They have suffered from addiction or have had a close family member who has either suffered from addiction or died due to their addictions. We understand the ins and outs of addiction and how it works within a family unit.

USA Addiction is one of the few companies that have a requirement of addiction.  In short, we require each member to have an experience with addiction so they’ll be able to provide the best addiction intervention treatment possible.  All of our counselors, coaches and intervention specialists have at least 1-year sobriety.

As part of our team, they understand the need people have and genuinely want to help.  In return, we look after them.  We know that it’s a stressful job, but we see to it that their sobriety is not compromised by conducting weekly meetings with our team.

Lynda Sward

My personal mission statement includes that of “whatever it takes.” I firmly believe in the power of personal spirituality, hope, and faith. I will refute that history does not mark the individual nor does it negate his values, purpose in life, or his future. One is not the mark of his addiction.  The family, while typically operating in the center of the noise and chaos of addiction, must learn the value of actualizing their own needs and purpose, moving outside of the dance of chaos and enabling the addict. Without family work, family education, and aftercare, the disabling cycle continues. I continually provide services for Interventionist, individuals, and families following the formal intervention process to provide a framework for family reunification, support, and processing to address codependence and to address and heal the fragility of the family network for those dealing with addiction in their lives.
